Bal du Dimanche – Free Cajun Dance & Livestream at True Story Brewing

Laissez les bons temps rouler! 🎺 Join BZCC on Sunday, November 9 for our very first Bal du Dimanche — a free Cajun dance and live-stream event celebrating Louisiana’s lively musical tradition.

We’ll be streaming a live Cajun band straight from the heart of Acadiana, where Sunday afternoon dances are part of everyday life. Expect upbeat Two-Steps and Waltzes, French lyrics, and the warm community spirit that makes a Bal du Dimanche event so special.

Description: Birmingham Zydeco Cajun Club ("BZCC") Members and Friends will meet in the side room of True Story Brewing (which has a sound system and room to dance) for Cajun/Creole/Zydeco music on the 4th Thursday of every month. Members of Birmingham’s Swamp Poppas band join when they are able. All musicians are welcome and encouraged to bring their instruments and join in a casual Jam. Dancers are encouraged to bring friends that dance. We will stream music before/after the Jam. True Story Brewing has a full bar, food and space to gather. Please join us!
